Project Redsteel has been finished and is now known as the The Canvas!
With its innovative design, The Canvas is a striking addition to New York City's architectural landscape. This fictional art museum's unique structure, defined by stacked, irregularly shaped volumes and a vivid red line tracing the flow of movement, symbolizes the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of art. The Canvas stands as a modern masterpiece, showcasing contemporary art that mirrors its bold and unconventional architecture. It invites visitors to experience art in a fluid and engaging way, reflecting the museum's commitment to creativity and exploration.
Final Rendering of The Canvas
The Canvas combines the best of Frank Lloyd Wright's and SANAA's design philosophies. Inspired by the Guggenheim, it offers a smooth, flowing experience that guides visitors effortlessly through its spaces. Inspired by SANAA's New Museum, its design features imperfect, yet, perfectly balanced, stacked blocks, creating a harmonious blend of beauty and functionality. This design not only displays art beautifully but also makes exploring the museum an engaging and seamless flow or movements.

Project Redsteel posed several complex challenges that pushed the boundaries of my skills with Sketchup3D and Twinmotion. Developing the project required advanced modeling techniques for certain parts, and achieving the precise golden ratio for each block's dimensions was more difficult than expected. The most demanding aspect was constructing a lifelike urban setting in Twinmotion. I dedicated myself to learning how to effectively import geographic data from maps, followed by learning to craft authentic sidewalks, roads, and integrate dynamic vehicle and pedestrian AI. Additionally, fine-tuning the lighting to complement the bustling high-rise cityscape was crucial for realism.
